Segregation used to be a way of life a few years ago, but after the first black president - Borrack Obama - was elected, there was nothing else to think except, the country has developed in a better way; however it seems no one has changed from there old ways.
On Febuary 26, 2012, young 17 - year - old Tryvon Martin was shot coming back from buying candy at a convenience store - Ice tea, and skittles - was what was bought. Martin was wearing a hoodie, and was unarmed. The killer name is Geaorge Zimmerman, and he is not found guilty yet. The citizens of the U.S want him behind bars, and wont stop until he is.
George Zemmerman defended himslef by saying he shot the boy out of self defence, even though when he had called the police, they told him to stay put, do not do anything, they would be there in five minutes. Ovbiously Zemmerman did not listen, seeing as how he ended up shooting the boy, and killing him. I feel that people have a great responsibilitie to do the right thing and protect each other. The shooting could have happend to anyones child, imagine if it was yours.
Zemmerman feared that Martin was " Up to no good " and that it was his joib to take care of it. Zemmerman ovbiously had feared the boy, because Martin ended up dead.
I feel that this generation stereotyping has such an impact on the personalities of one another. Zemmerman killed a young boy, because he was black, and because he was wearing a hoodie - which I guess all the bad guys do now a days - that is gender stereotyping, it happens so much that people stop realizing that they are. One day someone is going to wake up and realize that what they have done was hurtful, stereotyping and careless and can lead to so many things.
George Zemmerman deserves to be behind bars for what he did.

To kill a mocking bird.
Autumn turned to winter this year, Atticus said it aint snowed since 1985, and Mr. Avery blame it on us! He says bad children like us make the weather change.Since the weather was so BIZZARE, me and jem decided to enjoy it, because it was IMMINENT that in a couple of days we'd be SWELTERING in the heat again. Jem and I wanted to make a snow man, Atticus told us there was no way we'd ever get enough snow, so me and Jem CONSPIRED ways to get more snow, we finally decide to take the snow from miss Maudi's garden. We ASSIMILATED the snow, and moved it over to our garden. We made the perfect snow man, that looked axactly like Mr. Avery. Me and Jem loved our snow men, and so did Atticus, but he said Mr.Avery would have a DISSENSION, and take it seriously, so we disguised it with Miss Maudi's hat.
That night the weather became CALAMITOUS, Atticus came into my room several times to keep the fire going. Late at night, something awoke me, it was so late I thought it was morning - it was Atticus. I guess the idea that something bad could be happening slipped my mind. Atticus led me and Jem out the door, and in front of my very eyes I saw fire reach across the house of Miss Maudi. Atticus ended up saving her vauluable chair, but the house was left as a hole by the end of the night.
The next day I sat at the kitchen table with Jem and Atticus, Atticus pointed out the blanket I was wrapped around in. The blanket was brown and warm, I gave it a METICULOUS look, then realized that the blanket I was wearing, was indeed not mine. Jem thought about the blanket for a while, then finally APREHENDED what could have been the reason the un-familiar blanket was on me. Boo Radley. He must of put the blanket on me when I was sitting down looking at the fire last night, The thought gave me shivers crawling down my back.
Things have still been a bit bizarre, and I have still had my moments when I wanted to shoots someone head off, but I havent because I still have my promise with Atticus.
To be honest, I like the chaos. It bring us close together.
